Our desire for our students is to have an intimate, rich, and fulfilling relationship with God.
We want our students to mature in their faith, being rooted and built up in Christ, and overflowing with thanksgiving to God.
We will accomplish this goal through fellowship, worship, Bible study, service, and discipleship.
We are imperfect people who seek to love and serve a perfect God.
Our desire is be exactly who God created us to be – passionate, loving, and welcoming disciples of Jesus.
Raintree Student Ministries is for all students in 6th through 12th grade.

After a six year hiatus from West Texas, I once again find myself in the land of fantastic Mexican food, fickle weather, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
For most of my life I have called Lubbock home, and with the help of parents, pastors, and my church community: I discovered early in life that my passion was aiding in the spiritual formation of others, especially teens. I attended Lubbock Christian University in pursuit of what I have so far called 'my life's work'. As an undergraduate, I served as a youth ministry intern in Kansas City metro, Waco and Lubbock Texas. However, my greatest honor at LCU was meeting the person that inspires me daily: My wife Rynn. Our shared life is challenging and convicting. Earning a degree in my life’s passion was obviously a consolation prize to somehow convincing her to marry me.
Since graduating in 2010 I have served as a full time youth minister in two wonderful and gracious churches in Enid, OK and in the Kansas City Metro. Rynn and I are very excited to worship and serve with the faith community at Raintree. My passion for teens and families only continues to grow as my love for scripture and understanding of the story of God continues to expand.
I like to think of myself as an amateur movie critic, a self-recognized nerd, and soccer-enthusiast. I am also a sucker for engaging theological jargon, and deep conversation. I'd love to grab coffee or lunch sometime.
My phone is on, my office is open, and my schedule can be flexible. If I can serve you or your family, please, do not hesitate to reach out.
